Napper Architects’ worked in partnership with the City of Sunderland in a collaborative design delivery with Napper completing the design services to RIBA stage D. The design was recognised with the Civic Trust’s Centre Vision Special Award. The 2000 Centre Vision Award, one of the Trust’s premier awards, is for the project that contributes most to the improvement of a town or city centre.
The award was won by Sunderland’s Park Lane Interchange against major national competition.
