Bradford Law Courts

38 Drake St, Bradford, BD1 1JA

Situated in the centre of Bradford, the combined Law Courts contains eight crown courts and two county courtrooms, staff and visitor facilities.

A central courtyard provides natural light and ventilation deep into the building. The building was the recipient of a Civic Trust award for its response to the historic town centre and civic scale and massing. Externally local sandstone was used in combination with Lead clad stainless steel. The pedestrianised public entrance links to the existing town centre.

The building was delivered under the Design, Develop Construct form of contract and was delivered on time and under budget.
