Napper Architects have four projects shortlisted in the Constructing Excellence North East Awards
Napper Architects have four projects shortlisted in the Constructing Excellence North East Awards 2021. Teesside University Cornell Quarter student accommodation is included in 3 categories: Building Project of the Year, Health Safety & Wellbeing and Integration & Collaborative Working. The project was delivered to an incredibly tight programme of 2 years from inception to completion.
Three projects are shortlisted in the Conservation & Regeneration category: The City Baths in Newcastle plus Morpeth Railway Station and Cresswell Pele Tower completed in collaboration with John Curtis (a conservation architect and former director of Napper). In each of these projects the proposals sustain the heritage values and significance of the building, restore and reinstate the fine architectural spaces and features, and deliver a viable and sustainable future for the historic buildings.
