Planning approval secured for proposed garden centre near Alnwick

We are delighted to have successfully secured planning approval for a proposed garden centre on land east of the A1 near Alnwick. Working closely with Northumberland Estates, operator Blue Diamond and design team Shadbolt, Kyoob, Southern Green and iPRT Group we developed proposals for the new facility which feature extensive indoor and outdoor sales areas.

Representing a £13 million investment the garden centre will create jobs, attract visitors, and contribute to the growth of the regional economy enhancing Alnwick’s reputation as a prime destination for retail, leisure, food, and hospitality.

Northumberland County Council’s planning committee voted unanimously in favour of the application. We look forward to progressing to the next phase and bringing this exciting vision to life.
