NAPPER Employee Ownership Trust

Napper Architects are delighted to report the transition to an Employee Ownership Trust. After a thorough two year period considering options a collective decision was taken to put the business in the hands of those who have helped build it – the employees. James Gilbert and Josh Treverton have been elected as the two trustees to represent all staff from across the company. They will seek to engage employees in generating new ideas for the future of Napper Architects. The Company will continue to be led by the existing management team whilst the formation of the Trust will ensure input from all employees as the owners of the business, providing a long term strategy for Nappers continued growth and evolution in the years ahead.

“This was a natural evolution for Napper Architects as our success and growth has always been a product of our exceptional staff. The Trust will provide a vehicle to fully engage with all employees allowing their innovation to contribute to this continued success.

Graeme Dodd, NAPPER Managing Director

“Napper Architects has been in existence for 75 years and we have long had the benefit of a dedicated and loyal workforce, the Employee Ownership Trust will reward all those who work for Napper and ensures that the company continues for many more decades to come.”

James Gilbert, NAPPER Director and Trustee

It is anticipated that the greater employee involvement will naturally promote commitment and loyalty which will ultimately benefit the work Napper undertake for all of the varied client base. Napper were assisted by Muckle and Tait Walker to complete the smooth transition.
