Further Success for Seaham Harbour Redevelopment

The redevelopment of the coastal marina at Seaham Harbour picked up its 9th prestigious award with a RTPI commendation at the awards ceremony on Friday, 10th October.

“Once again it highlights the success of a collaborative approach to the design and delivery of the projects and recognises the hard work and commitment of the design team, client team and community support group. The success of the scheme has resulted in the client commissioning Napper to complete a phase 3 planning application for a water-sports centre and extension to the pontoon assembly.”

The multi-million pound regeneration of Seaham Harbour Marina included the creation of new waterfront retail units, new dock gates, floating pontoons and North Terrace entrance and restoration of the once-derelict lifeboat centre.
