Completion of Ayton Residential Development in Washington

Ayton Residential Development has been completed. Napper Architects were appointed by Vistry Partnerships to develop proposals for 56 dwellings on a brownfield site close to the A1(M) in Washington. The development incorporates a mixture of 2 bedroom starter homes and 3 and 4 bedroom family homes with 50% managed by a registered provider offering part ownership arrangements. 

A ‘fabric first’ approach was implemented to ensure high energy efficiency and to reduce future energy costs. The layout incorporates a sustainable drainage basin to attenuate surface water run-off, to prevent flooding and to provide a habitat for wildlife.
