Hybrid Business Innovation Centre starts on site

The £8 million Hybrid Business Innovation Centre in Darlington has started on site. The new building will provide bespoke accommodation to nurture and promote entrepreneurship and business growth in Darlington and the Tees Valley comprising office and laboratory space that can respond to the specific needs of digital and technical businesses. Located within the heart of Central Park it will encourage continued investment into this critical site, allowing Darlington to deliver their long-term strategy of attracting and supporting the innovative businesses of the future.

The design has been developed with Willmott Dixon Construction through the Scape Framework and is being funded by the Council, Tees Valley Combined Authority and the ERDF as well as the government’s Getting Building Fund.
