Graeme Dodd elected as National Council representative for RIBA North East

We are pleased to report that Graeme Dodd has been elected as National Council representative for the RIBA North East. Graeme, who is Napper Architects Managing Director, takes over the role from Nicky Watson of JDDK who has carried out the role for the last six years.

“I have often had conversations around ‘what does the RIBA do for us in the North East’ over the years. I have witnessed first-hand the improved relationship between the regions and the ‘HQ’ in London, particularly in the last ten years or so. This is something that I want to see continue and I will enthusiastically support that process.

We need to ensure that our collective North East voice is heard, and to that end, I will vigorously champion the region on behalf of the members.”

In other news we have added to our staff base with the recruitment of architectural assistants Doug Riley and Brian Cox. The appointments are part of our planned growth and strengthen our technical delivery team.
